You'll find Casa Corea in the friendly village Puntagorda, on the sunny west side of the island La Palma.
Casa Corea stands in a quiet natural setting at 640M above sea level. Here you can here the sound of the birds, the bees and the crickets, a perfect place to relax.
The village centre with restaurants and shops is on walking distance.

Casa Corea has sea view and in the garden you'll find a variety of flowers, shrubs and trees.
The house has a private entrance and parking.

This holiday house is suitable for 1 or 2 persons. For a party up to 4 persons we can offer you a seperate 2-person holiday apartment. See at the bottom of this website.

Accommodation
Casa Corea has a living room with open kitchen. Use has been made of wood throughout. In the living room are a comfortable sofa and chairs and there is SAT TV/radio. The wood fire keeps it warm during cooler nights in the winter. The doors open onto the terrace.

The kitchen has a ceramic hob, double-door refrigerator, extractor fan, coffee machine, toaster and a good selection of kitchen utensils.

In the bedroom you'll find 2 single beds with good matrasses and a wardrobe. The bathroom has a washbasin, shower and wc.

Outside
Casa Corea has a private entrance which can be closed. In front of the house is a terrace with table and chairs and sunbeds. In the garden you'll find a variety of plants and flowers and several corners where you can sit and relax, enjoy the sun, the sunset or the stars at night.

Area

Puntagorda is one of the most beautiful areas of La Palma. It is in the rural north-west of the island with 2100 inhabitants and is about 1.5 hours drive from the airport.
Puntagorda village has various shops, 2 supermarkets, butcher, a dispensing chemist, doctor, dentist, banks with cash dispensers, a post office, restaurants, typical local bars, library, Lnternet cafes and a public swimming pool (summer). On Saturdays and Sundays there is a market in the Mercadillo selling fresh local farm produce including local wine, cheese, cigars, cakes and fresh fruit and vegetables.
The area around Puntagorda is a must for nature lovers. There are many and varied marked walking paths, view points, some old windmills and El Fayal, a beautiful pine forest with barbecue and picnic area and childrens playground. The area above the village is covered in pine forests, the lower areas towards the cliffs are covered with shrubs and cactus.
There is access to the sea at El Puerto with a tiny pool and rocks but no beach. In the summer months you can swim in the ocean. It is worth a visit if only for the views along the cliffs and the coast.
Puntagorda is ideally situated for trips to the north of La Palma and the highest point of the island Roque de Los Muchachos. There are walking paths along to Tijarafe, Las Tricias, Garafia, and El Tablado. A taxi will drop you at the Roque de Los Muchachos so that you can walk down to Puntagorda.
In January to March the hillsides of Puntagorda are covered in flowering almond trees. Every year, at the end of January or beginning of February, Puntagorda celebrates the Festival of the Flowering Almond.
Puntagorda is ±45 minutes drive to the town of Los Llanos with the famous Plaza de España and the beautiful streets and houses and shops. The sandy beach at Tazacorte is a ±35 minutes drive.
