Casa Corea is a holiday home in the friendly village Puntagorda, on the sunny west side of the island La Palma.
This free standing holiday house stands in a natural setting at 640M above sea level, just under the village of Puntagorda.
The area is beautiful and very quiet. Here you can hear the sound of the birds, the bees and the crickets.
Casa Corea is a good place to relax and being 'away from it all'.
Casa Corea has sea view and at night you can enjoy millions of stars.
The garden has a variety of flowers, shrubs and trees and there is a private entrance and parking.
The pool with sun terrace can be used by the guests of Casa Corea, the holiday appartement Julia and the 2nd house.
The pool is on a seperate sheltered terrace below the house and can be used from May until November.

Casa Corea is suitable for 1 or 2 persons. For a party of 4 or 6 persons the 2nd holiday house or the appartement can be rented.

Accommodation
Casa Corea has a spacious living room with open kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom.

In the living room are a comfortable sofa and chairs and there is SAT TV/radio.
The wood fire keeps it warm during cooler nights in the winter.
Use has been made of wood throughout.
The doors open onto the terrace.

The kitchen has a ceramic hob, double-door refrigerator, extractor fan, coffee machine, toaster and a good selection of kitchen utensils.

In the bedroom you'll find 2 single beds with good matrasses and a wardrobe. The bathroom has a washbasin, shower and wc.

Outside

The swimming pool with sun terrace is on a sheltered terrace below the house.
There are tabels and chairs and sun beds.
The pool can be used from May until November. Also in the other months the pool will be filled and clean.

Casa Corea has a private entrance which can be closed.

In front of the house is a terrace with table and chairs and sunbeds.

In the garden you'll find a variety of plants and flowers and several corners where you can sit and relax, enjoy the sun, the sunset or the stars at night.

Area

Puntagorda is one of the most beautiful areas of La Palma, is in the north-west of the island and about 1,5 hours drive from the airport.
Puntagorda has various shops, a dispensing chemist, butcher, banks with cash dispensers, a post office, restaurants, typical local bars, public swimming pool and on Saturdays and Sundays there is a market in the Mercadillo selling local produce.
In January the almond trees start flowering in Puntagorda. Every year, at the end of January or beginning of February, Puntagorda celebrates the Festival of the Flowering Almond.
The area around Puntagorda is a must for nature lovers. There are many and varied walking paths, view points, some old windmills and El Fayal, a beautiful pine forest with barbecue and picnic area and childrens playground.
El Puerto has access to the sea. There is no beach, but in the summer months you can swim in the ocean.
Puntagorda is ideally situated for trips to the north of La Palma and the highest point of the island Roque de Los Muchachos.
It is ±45 minutes drive to the town of Los Llanos with the famous Plaza de España and the beautiful streets and houses. The sandy beach at Tazacorte is a ±35 minutes drive.
